Renewals
Know when you're charged
No surprises on your card.
- Weekly, monthly, three-month and six-month plans roll over by themselves, at the same price and for the same length, until you stop them.
- A 12-month plan is paid once. When it ends, so does the charge.
- To stop a plan, message support or ask the chat assistant. An email follows with a link to the cancellation steps, and what you have paid for keeps working until its end date.
- Canceling is not leaving. You drop back to Classic and your profile stays visible until you take it down yourself from the Membership page.
- Purchases are final. The exception is where local law gives you a right to cancel, as in some US states, the UK and the EU.

Classic, VIP or VIP Plus?
Classic
Where everyone starts. Build a profile, browse, get daily matches, post photos and updates, and message a handful of people a day. A message from a VIP or VIP Plus member is always yours to answer. The ID check for a verified badge is open to you as well.
VIP
Everything on Classic without the message cap, plus filters for city, distance and what a person is open to, moderated chat rooms, group chats with up to 50 people, rewind, and a list of members who like you.
VIP Plus
Everything on VIP, with your messages and likes moved up the queue, exclusive matches and the top slot in other members’ daily lists. Boosts and Super Match cost extra.
The features page lays all three side by side.
Straight talk about money
How much does Fat F-Buddy cost?
VIP starts at $19.99 for a week and reaches $260.19 for 12 months in US dollars, and VIP Plus runs from $22.99 to $338.41. Australian dollars, pounds, Canadian and New Zealand dollars and euros are in the tables above, and Classic is where you start before you pick a plan.
Do plans renew on their own?
Anything shorter than a year does. Weekly, monthly, three-month and six-month plans carry on by themselves, billed again at the price you started on, until you cancel them. You pay for a 12-month plan once. The note under each price on this page says which kind you are looking at before you buy.
How do I cancel?
Message support, or ask the chat assistant. An email follows with the cancellation steps, and you keep every VIP feature until the time you paid for runs out. After that your profile stays on the site as a Classic member unless you take it down yourself.
Are Boosts and Super Match part of VIP Plus?
No. VIP Plus members can buy them separately. A Boost pushes your profile to active members close to you for a spell, and a Super Match makes your message stand out when it reaches someone’s inbox. Once bought, neither can be partly refunded.
What is the cheapest way to use VIP?
The longest plan. In US dollars, VIP works out at $9.99 a week when you pay monthly and $4.99 a week across 12 months, and those 12 months are paid once, with no renewal.
