Six cities, no strings

BBW USA: No-Strings Meets From New York to Los Angeles

For BBW, big men and the admirers who want them: the local know-how for an easy first meet in six big cities.

The short answer

Say what you want on your profile, pick a busy public place in daylight and know your last train home. In New York and Chicago some trains run all night, so the evening can too; in the other four cities, the last departure sets the finish.

What makes a first meet easy in a big US city?

Wanting the same thing, mostly. Fat F-Buddy is built for BBW and plus-size women, big men and the admirers who seek them out, meeting one to one for something casual, so the awkward question is answered before anyone leaves the house. The city has a smaller job: get the two of you there, and get you both home.

Most people pick the place for a first meet and leave the ride home to luck. That's a poor bet in the US, where the six cities below answer the late-night question six different ways. This page sets the answers side by side, then links a guide for each city.

Fat F-Buddy runs in your phone's browser, so you can pin it to your home screen like an app, and your profile shows only your nearest town or city. The features page lists the tools, and the first-meet guide covers the day itself.

Daily matches weigh the age range you set and how close people live, so choose the ages you'd honestly like to meet.

How late can the night run in each city?

Two of the six run trains all night. In the other four, the last departure is the one number to know before you choose a place.

Late trains, city by city.

New YorkMTAThe subway runs 24 hours a day, every day. The Long Island Rail Road runs 24/7 on varying schedules. Not every subway line runs all night, and overnight routing differs.
Los AngelesLA MetroSix rail lines, each with its own timetable, and OWL night buses for the overnight hours.Your line's last train comes first; after it, the OWL night bus map is the one to read.
ChicagoCTARed and Blue Line trains run around the clock, every day, along with certain Night Owl bus routes. Most other trains and many buses run from early morning to late evening.
HoustonMETROMETRORail runs daily from before 5 a.m. to after midnight, in METRO's approximate times. The airport bus runs until about 8 or 9 p.m.
DallasDARTRail trains come every 30 minutes late at night. The Trinity Railway Express to Fort Worth runs Monday to Saturday.
AtlantaMARTARail runs from 4:45 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekdays and from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekends. After 8:30 p.m., some trips to northern stations may need a transfer at Lindbergh Center.

In New York and Chicago, a meet near an all-night line can run for as long as it's fun. Elsewhere, pick a place you can leave half an hour before the last departure, and the evening never has to end in a sprint. The safety page covers what the site does on its side.

Which city are you meeting in?

Each guide picks the daytime spots for a first hello, the ride home and the weather to plan around. The places page lists every guide.

  • New York

The subway never shuts, and the Long Island Rail Road reaches 126 stations on 11 branches, as far out as Montauk. BBW New York adds three daylight parks for the hello.

  • Los Angeles

Grand Central Market, a downtown landmark since 1917, opens every day, which makes it an easy first coffee. The rest of the day is in our guide to casual meets in Los Angeles.

  • Chicago

The Blue Line gets you to O'Hare in about 40 minutes and never stops for the night; the Orange Line reaches Midway in about 25. BBW Chicago has the rest.

  • Houston

Downtown's tunnels link 95 blocks over more than six miles, then close by 6 p.m. on weekdays and all weekend, so the evening happens above ground. Our guide to a first meet in Houston shows where.

  • Dallas

The M-Line Trolley runs vintage streetcars, about a century old, between Uptown, Klyde Warren Park, the Arts District and downtown, and riding costs nothing. Our guide to meeting up in Dallas adds the parks and the late trains.

  • Atlanta

The BeltLine already has more than 16 miles of trail open on a planned 22-mile loop, past Piedmont Park and Old Fourth Ward, and walking side by side does half the small talk. BBW Atlanta builds a Saturday around it.

The national basics that keep you in control

These bodies work across the country, so their advice holds in every city above.

Dating scams
The Federal Trade Commission's rule is blunt: no money or presents for anyone you haven't met face to face. Its August 2022 article lists fake profiles, a story about living or working far away, and requests for wire transfers, gift cards or crypto. It suggests a reverse image search on profile photos.
Sextortion
That's a threat to share your private material unless you meet demands. A 2021 alert from the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center said most victims it heard from first made contact on dating websites and apps, then were asked to switch messaging platform. Its advice: never send compromising images, and if threatened, stop all contact and file a complaint.
Finding a test
Type a ZIP code into CDC's GetTested locator and it lists nearby HIV, STI and hepatitis testing, confidential sites and no-cost or low-cost ones among them. CDC names three ways to test: a visit to a provider, an at-home self-test or a mail-in kit.
Who tests for what
CDC's testing advice, dated March 17, 2026, says everyone aged 13 to 64 should have at least one HIV test, and sexually active women under 25 should test for gonorrhea and chlamydia every year. It advises gay and bisexual men and other men who have sex with men to screen at least yearly for syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea.
Intimate images
The TAKE IT DOWN Act, enacted May 19, 2025, makes it a federal crime to knowingly publish intimate images of an adult without consent, AI-made fakes included. It also requires covered platforms to act on a valid removal request within 48 hours.
Emergencies
Dial 911 for police, fire or medical help across the country. If a meet turns dangerous, call first.

A doctor or clinic can say which tests suit you, and the FTC takes scam reports. Our fake-profile guide and safer casual sex guide turn the same advice into checklists.

Meeting in the US: your questions

Which US city is easiest to get home from late at night?

New York and Chicago. The MTA runs the subway 24 hours a day, and the CTA runs its Red and Blue Lines around the clock, though in both cities some other lines stop overnight. Atlanta's trains run until 1 a.m., and Houston's rail until after midnight.

Where can I get an STI test in the US?

Start with CDC's GetTested locator: enter a ZIP code and it lists testing for HIV, STIs and hepatitis nearby, with confidential and low-cost sites included. Each city guide here also names its public health department clinics, and your own doctor can tell you which tests make sense.

How old do I have to be to join from the US?

Fat F-Buddy is for adults only: 18 and over, or 21 where that is the age of majority. Cornell Law School's Legal Information Institute (2021) says most states set that age at 18, and a few set it higher.

Is it illegal to share someone's intimate photos in the US?

Knowingly publishing intimate images of an adult without their consent is a federal crime under the TAKE IT DOWN Act, enacted May 19, 2025. It covers AI-made fakes and requires covered platforms to act on a valid removal request within 48 hours. For a specific case, ask a lawyer.
